Family Affordability and Housing Pressure Relief
Fight for breathing room: lower the burden from property taxes, rent, utilities, groceries, childcare, and everyday costs that are crushing working families.
Independent campaign for Texas House District 98
Nicholas Ryan Holbrook is running with a servant leader mindset: tell the truth, stay reachable, treat people with dignity, and do the hard work that helps ordinary families breathe again.
Mission
A Jesus-first mindset in public service is not religious performance. It means living out character through action: dignity in tone, truthfulness about what is possible, accessibility to voters, forgiveness without weakness, and courage to stand firm when something is wrong.
Leadership Style
Nicholas leads the way he lives: direct, respectful, and responsible. He does not overpromise, and he does not dodge hard conversations. If he is wrong, he corrects it. If families are being squeezed, he shows up and fights for relief.
Whether you are deeply religious, not religious, Democrat, Republican, or independent, this campaign is for people who want serious leadership and measurable progress.
My Story
I am Nicholas Ryan Holbrook — a father of four, a provider, and a proud Texan shaped by real jobs and real responsibility. I started working young in the Mid-Cities, from Kroger in Euless to local retail and cell phone sales across DFW. I learned early that dignity comes from showing up, working hard, and treating people right.
I later became a self-taught software engineer and eventually Director of Software Engineering, leading teams and solving complex problems that impacted large groups of people. But titles never changed what mattered most: helping people succeed, owning mistakes, and keeping promises.
My family and I live the same pressures many Texans live every day — rising costs, housing strain, school concerns, and the need for honest leadership that doesn't disappear after Election Day. That is why I am running.
